POLITICS
The political landscape in Sudan is controversial and
complicated. This page contains sites that discuss political
issues relating to Sudan. None of the links are, to the editors
knowledge, affiliated with particular parties in Sudanese
politics. The purpose of the page is to provide access to
political analysis of Sudan covering issues including party
politics, democracy and access to aid.
Oxfam Australia - Sudan page (website)
|
Oxfam Australia had numerous projects operating in and around Sudan for many years, but decided in 2002 to withdraw from this region. This page provides information about Oxfam's work in Sudan, particularly their humanitarian work in the Darfur region and their peace building project in Kaltok. The news archive provides an insight into the experiences of their aid workers in Sudan over the last few years. Other Oxfam programs (particularly Oxfam Great Britain) continue to work in Sudan and there are links to pages containing details of their programs. |
