Sudanese rapper Emmanuel Jal - (Go direct to webpage)
Emmanuel Jal, now of Kenya, raised world-wide attention when he performed in the Live 8 concert in Cornwall, United Kingdom in mid-2005. Emmanuel's raps are inspired by his time as a child soldier in South Sudan. His raps also tell stories of his long walk from Sudan to Ethiopia to become a refugee.

This webpage provides information about Emmanuel and a link to an audio file, compiled by the British Broadcasting Corporation, which features some of his music.
