Sudan and the UN Human Rights Treaties (website)
Sudan has signed a number of international legal instruments, including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Most of these instruments are non-binding. This webpage provides a wealth of information about which United Nations treaties Sudan has ratified and made reservations to, as well as reports of Sudan to the United Nations on the implementation of these instruments. The reports cover issues such as the protection of human rights for women and children, allegations of torture and breaches of international human rights standards. Some contain useful statistics on the attainment of human rights entitlements in Sudan.

The website, Bayefsky.com,  "was designed for the purpose of enhancing the implementation of the human rights legal standards of the United Nations."
